BRIEFLY
The Nam Ha and Nam Ha rivers flow near the border with China and
through the homelands of three distinct ethnic groups of Northern
Laos. They also take us through the dense tropical forests and challenging
rapids of the Nam Ha National Park, home to tigers, wild elephants,
and an assortment of endangered wildlife. This is a kayaking and
hiking trip to discover exotic peoples and their relationship to
the land and rivers they inhabit, staying in their villages to see
their lives firsthand. We’ll spend one night in a guesthouse,
one night in a lodge, and five nights in village homes.
